Arnold AFB:
F-14D, BuNO 163893 was delivered to the Navy on 31 August 1990. While serving with VF-213,
it participated in the last Tomcat cruise aboard the Roosevelt (CVN-71) and was one of the
last F-14s to see combat in Iraq. It is now on static display at Arnold Engineering and Development Center
also know as Arnold Air Force Base in Tullahoma, Tennessee. It arrived there in June ’06 in its original
low vis paint scheme and was repainted in August. AEDC is about 70 miles Southeast of Nashville
(I-24 from Nashville to Chattanooga at exit 117). The Tomcat is located at the main gate, just over 2 miles
from I-24.
