F-14D BuNo 163902 was delivered to the Navy on 9 April 1991. It was the 17th F-14D manufactured by Grumman. It served with VF-124 and VF-101 but spent most of its life with the Tomcatters of VF-31. During it's time with VF-31 it made several WestPac and Persian Gulf tours as part of CVW-14 on board the carrier Abraham Lincoln (CVN-72). When VF-31 transferred to CVW-8, Felix 107 as it was then know, made the final Tomcat cruise on board the Theodore Roosevelt and was one of the last F-14s to see action over Iraq. At the Tomcat Sunset event on 22 September 2006 before a huge crowd at NAS Oceana, Felix 107 made the ceremonial final flight of the Tomcat.
