Cradle of Aviation Museum - Garden City, NY![]() F-14A BuNo 159432 was delivered to the Navy on November 10, 1974. It was struck following an engine disintegration on take-off at Oceana and returned to Grumman Bethpage for use as the fatigue test article for many years. Following this testing, the forward module was completely restored by the Cradle of Aviation Museum in Garden City, NY where it now resides. The photo was provided by Bill Barto who was also responsible for the early VF-31 marking shown in the photo. |
